This practice of applying conceptual metaphorical thinking in design as a mediator gives rise to deepening an understanding of time and duration towards intentional longevity. A propositional temporal system of design connects our past to our present and contributes to an understanding of decisions and of choices made transforming the way in which we inhabit time.
