DESIGNING TIME
The aesthetics of Time
The design object carries social and cultural characteristics. The object, as a sign or symbol, takes part in an important communication. Materiality and visual communication involve creating a language. This language is reflected in the choice of materials, the aesthetics and production methods characterise the designer process of transforming a concept into an object.
The interest is in the value of an expression that can be captured between those moments of choice, settings or processes are there to transit transitory, in-between state. I seek to understand the complexity silent and behaviour languages, viewed through time and the pace of everyday life among cultures, places and spaces.
